Charlotte has been working for non-profit organisations in the health field since 2001, first as Director of a European network (Active Citizenship Network - ACN) focusing on patients’ rights (2001-2008) and then as an external consultant on European Strategy for a French health platform gathering and supporting 40 patients and healthcare users’ organisations, the Collectif Interassociatif Sur la Santé - CISS.
The development of the European Charter of Patients’ Rights and the launch of the European Patients’ Rights Day celebrated every year on 18 April since 2007 with the support of the EU institutions, are among my main achievements in the health field
Charlotte is educated and trained as a lawyer specialising in EU law. She is French but resides in Rome, Italy with her family since 2001.
