Chemotherapy

Chemotherapy drugs destroy cancer cells by interfering with their ability to divide and reproduce. There are numerous different chemotherapy drugs used to treat cancer. The type of chemotherapy used is dependent on the type of lymphoma. Some chemotherapy agents are given on their own but usually several are given in conjunction with each other. Chemotherapy is also often combined with other types of treatment e.g. monoclonal antibodies.
