Subtype Review: Marginal Zone Lymphoma

The Lymphoma Coalition (LC) continues to examine access to care for patients with lymphoma through its algorithm of care lens analysing the data by subtype. LC believes it is necessary to break out subtypes and not combine the information under the one heading non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL).

NHL is not a disease in itself but a series of subtypes that require independent tracking to ensure proper trending analysis and outcomes reporting. The LC global database provides us with that opportunity to analyse the individual subtype needs, review any issues or challenges by country and determine what approach is required to provide patient support.

The focus for this review is patient access to care in MZL; namely therapy access, clinical trials, incidence and mortality and some aspects of the patient experience.
