The Board of Directors of the Lymphoma Coalition (LC) seeks to employ a Chief Executive Officer to lead the organisation’s local and regional executive, staff and volunteers.
The current CEO, Karen Van Rassel, has chosen to retire at the end of 2018 after a successful tenure.
This executive leadership role is responsible for advancing the mission and vision of the Lymphoma Coalition (LC). The individual will lead with integrity, flexibility and take full responsibility for implementing the strategic plan of the LC along with enhancing support and fostering relationships with member organizations.
The CEO reports to the Board of Directors, engages with the Medical Advisory Board and is responsible for all management activities related to the business of LC operations. The CEO is the central point of contact for public relations and media as well as a spokesperson at a wide variety of scientific, advocacy and other meetings around the world.
The CEO is responsible for seeking funding and partnerships that contribute to the long-term financial sustainability of the LC.
The individual must demonstrate leadership qualities and have a vision for implementing the strategic plan both short-term and long-term.
Please note that global travel will be required (extensive at times) and the chosen candidate must reside in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada or surrounding areas.
